Bernie Mac’s Pneumonia likely due to Sarcoidosis
As the world has already discovered, Bernie Mac sadly died this morning due to complications of pneumonia. He was recently admitted into the hospital for his pneumonia and was originally expected to be released soon, only to sadly pass away.
Although reports indicated that his current bout of pneumonia was not related to a disease that he has called sarcoidosis, it may have been afterall.
Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory disease that has no known cure. Its development in the human body is not known either although it is believed to be caused by breathing in a toxin or pathogen. It causes a variety of symptoms in the body and the affected organs, causing them to not work as well as they should. Read more on sarcoidosis here.
While a cause may be discovered at a later time, the sad loss of this incredible actor and comedian is being felt in Chicago and all over the world

I was surprised to hear of his passing this morning. As more reports come out it does sound like it wasn’t the pneumonia. He will be missed.
